Cathay United Bank is one of Taiwan’s leading financial institutions.
A redesign of the Cathay United Bank × EVA Air co-branded card, featuring a renewed visual identity and packaging system. The project redefines the relationship between both brands while enhancing security, usability, and premium perception, transforming the card into a distinctive travel-focused brand experience.
Taiwan’s First Swarovski Crystal Metal Credit Card
This co-branded metal card created with EVA Air features a minimalist matte-black finish accented by a single Swarovski crystal. The design highlights the natural luster of metal through the contrast between the understated matte surface and the crystal's brilliance, creating a refined and sophisticated sense of luxury.

Designed around three core principles:
1. Strengthening Brand Presence
By integrating EVA Air’s signature visual elements with Cathay United Bank’s premium brand language, the card achieves a strong and recognizable identity.
2. Enhancing Privacy and Security
Sensitive card information was strategically repositioned and minimized on the front surface, reducing the risk of unauthorized copying or exposure during daily use.
3. Elevating the Premium Experience
Material selection, finishing techniques, and visual detailing were carefully considered to create a sophisticated product that reflects the exclusivity of the cardholder’s status.
